The third annual Impy Awards took place last night, on March 27, and Sony released the list of winners on the PlayStation.Blog today. For anyone who missed the live viewing, the award show has been posted to YouTube in its entirety. Check out that video below.
The Impy Awards celebrates games spawned from Media Molecule’s game creation system: Dreams. The software was first published in 2020 by Sony, specifically for the PS4. Some of the most notable titles created with Dreams have been Art’s Dream, Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale, and several mini VR games. The program offers gamers the chance to create their own content in the form of fully-fledged games, animated movies, music, art, and more. It’s an incredibly unique and creative system.
