The Avengers game that was made and released by Crystal Dynamics was…uh…flawed from the start. From basically the first trailer, fans noted that something just felt off about the game in terms of visuals and certain things that were done. But then, when the game actually came out…the real problems showed. Mainly in that the game was buggy as all get out (including needing a patch to fix 1000 bugs) and the fact that it didn’t feel like you were truly playing as “Earths Mightiest Heroes” at times.
The DLC for the game has also been mixed, because new additions like Black Panther and Kate Bishop have been met with not so great reactions from fans. And now, a new “reveal” seems to be pointing to more of those reactions coming.
Because as noted on Reddit, it’s been stated that Jane Foster’s version of The Mighty Thor is coming to the game as DLC. More specifically, as an “Echo” to Thor. So you know, basically a clone that does almost everything the original character does?
This is already getting blasted on Reddit due to how it feels like a “lazy addition” since we already have Thor in the game. Furthermore, it’s easy to see why this addition may be happening, and that’s because of the upcoming Thor Love and Thunder movie set for July which is going to feature the live-action debut of The Mighty Thor (played by Natalie Portman).
Granted, we don’t know if this DLC addition is 100% accurate, or if The Mighty Thor will play exactly like Thor. But…given the “past record” of this game, it wouldn’t be the hardest thing to guess that it might be more true than fans would like.
Either way, you should keep your eyes peeled because things might be getting a little heated.
