Pokemon Looks Incredible as an Open World Unreal Engine 4 Games

July 24, 2015 by Stephen Daly

See Mario, Link, and Sonic rendered in a UE4 world as well.

YouTuber CryZENx has released a short video showing what an open world Pokemon game created using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 would look like.

Titled 'Kite Demo', the video show Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle in a richly detailed environment. Fans of the pocket monsters have been calling for an open world Pokemon game for years and while any official GameFreak title would likely be more cartoon-y than this, the possibility of seeing such a game on Nintendo's upcoming NX system is compelling.

CryZENx has also released videos of Mario, Zelda, and Sonic the Hedgehog in the same world and you can check out those videos below.
