Xbox boss Phil Spencer has revealed that Microsoft plans to introduce mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One in the near future.
Asked on Twitter about the possibility of streaming from Windows 10 to Xbox One, Spencer said "Still finishing Xbox to Win10 streaming right now. I like the idea of Win10->Xbox One streaming but don't have a plan yet."
It was then pointed out that this would require mouse input to work, to which Spencer replied:
@lgriao @PNF4LYFE @Tak225Th Yep, keyboard and mouse support for Xbox would need to be there for this to work, those aren't far away.

The Xbox One already supports keyboards, and Spencer confirmed that mouse support "is what we'd need to add."
Microsoft has released a number of updates for the Xbox One to help integrate the system with Windows 10 ahead of its launch at the end of the month.
Windows 10 goes live on July 29th as a free update to anyone who has Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
