Dishonored: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4 will be half-price for folks who own a digital copy of Dishonored for PlayStation 3, according to a listing on the PlayStation Store.
The remastered version of 2012’s first-person action adventure game from Arkane Studios will cost $40 at full price and include all previous add-on DLC for Dishonored. The $20 upgrade option for those that own Dishonored on PS3 digitally will also apply to those that picked the game up for free as part of last April’s PlayStation Plus free game offerings. Additionally, owning the PS3 version of the game will lock you out of purchasing Dishonored: Definitive Edition at the full $40 price tag.
The full list of content in the Definitive Edition can be found below:
· Dunwall City Trials
· The Knife of Dunwall
· The Brigmore Witches
· Void Walker’s Arsenal
Currently, this discount has been unconfirmed by publisher Bethesda, in addition to no word on whether this discount will apply to those with copies of the game on Xbox 360 and looking to upgrade to Xbox One.
At Bethesda’s first ever E3 press briefing last month, the publisher announced that developer Arkane Studios is working on a sequel to Dishonored that will include the option to play as Dishonored protagonist Corvo or newcomer Emily and will release next spring on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
