Final Fantasy 14: Heavensward has received the final patch for its endgame content in patch 3.05, which launched today.
The patch includes the addition of Allagan Tomestones of Esoterics (the currency that is capped weekly through running dungeons); the red crafter and gatherer scrips; the savage version of Alexander, a tuned-up version of the endgame boss in Heavensward that has been redesigned to test the skills of the most serious endgame players.
On the player versus player side of things, patch 3.05 also includes a new PvP map and new PvP rewards in addition to removing the level restrictions on what used to be considered top-tier PvP rewards prior to this patch. The maximum PvP rank has also been increased to 50.
Also included in the patch are new crafting recipes, new story quests, and more. Check out the full list of changes in patch 3.05 here.
Last month, Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn was released for the first time on Mac. However, while the PC and PlayStation versions have been regarded as one of the most remarkable turnarounds for a video game in distress, the Mac version has suffered issues severe enough to warrant Square Enix halting sales and offering refunds.
