Naruto Storm 4: Sakura Byakugou Revealed, New Techniques Explained

July 15, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The Storm Gauge will allow you to use your characters most powerful forms, in all possible combinations.

Thanks to new magazine scans for Naruto Storm 4, we have new details on how the new gameplay mechanics teased yesterday work. Even better, we get a first look at Sakura’s Byakugou chakra.

As we already know, the Mother of Chakra Kaguya Otsutsuki will be able to change stages at will. Now, we know this OP character will also be playable. Between the deserts, lava, and ice dimensions, you can change the field to expose your enemy to the harsh elements. Kaguya’s attacks are truly merciless.

Sakura’s Byakugou technique translates to Ninja Art Creation Rebirth — Strength of a Hundred Technique, and only she and her teacher, Elder Tsunade, can pull it off. When using this technique, the user instantly heals any wounds due to accelerated cell division, and releases the large amount of chakra the user has accumulated for her life. The latter is the effect of the Strength of a Hundred Seal, and is the reason Sakura’s face and body gets covered with markings, which is actually the seal made manifest.

And now, about the Storm Gauge. The gauge slowly rises in the heat of battle, and when it hits max, you can instantly awaken all three of your player characters at once. Even at this point, you can switch between the leaders and use support ninjutsu between any combination of your ninja. Make the most of this technique and use your most effective techniques on your enemies.

Naruto Storm 4 will be released on September 2015 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
