Double Eleven and Coffee Stain Studios have announced that Goat Simulator is to be released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 from August 11th in an update on the PlayStation Blog.
The game will be introducing the ability for your goat to fly by helicopter, jetpack, or even hang glider. Your goat will also find much amusement in blowing stuff up and walking away from the blast unharmed, headbutting stuff (it is a goat), perform mid-air tricks, and of course, bleet online with your friends.
Goat Simulator offers two player co-op on PS3 and four player co-op on PS4.
The developers also suggest that the game may come to Project Morpheus which would be an interesting experience, to say the least.
"GoatVR is the most authentic “simulated GoatVR experience” that doesn’t require a helmet or anything," Double Eleven's Mark South wrote. "Although it’s not quite ready yet we felt it better to stay ahead of the crowd and let it out into the wild. We still need to do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it."
