Max Payne 3 First Ever Trailer Contains Shooting, Bullet Time, and a New Conspiracy

September 14, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Rockstar’s first ever trailer of Max Payne 3 gives us a good taste of the game.

Rockstar has released the first ever trailer of Max Payne 3. The game takes place a decade after the events of Max Payne 2. Max, now a gun for hire, operates as a bodyguard to a powerful man in sao Paolo, Brazil.

He finds himself involved in a conspiracy involving drug lords, and individuals belonging to the highest echelons. In the midst of it all, a girl he's assigned to protect is kidnapped and Max must find a way to rescue her.

"Here I was again, with all hell breaking lose around another girl I had been trying to protect. This was a helluva hangover," says Max as he shaves off his hair. As you can already guess, the internal monologues are back.

Max Payne 3 is set for a March 2012 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
