Capcom has released a video for Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, showing off the stark differences between the Nintendo 64 prototype, which was only shown at the Tokyo Game Show in 1999, the original 2002 Nintendo Gamecube release, and the upcoming HD remastered version.
The video touches on the history of the game by showing the three incarnations and how the game has evolved from 1999 til now.
Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster was announced in May 2015 as a high-definition remake of the 2002 Gamecube-exclusive. Capcom is upgrading visuals, sound, adding widescreen support, and a new control setup (optional).
Set before the events of Resident Evil, which was also recently remade, Resident Evil 0 focuses on protagonists Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, a STARS officer and prisoner, respectively.
Resident Evil HD Remaster will be released in early 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
