Arkham Knight’s Batgirl DLC Trailer Kicks Ass

July 8, 2015 by Vanessa Lopa

The lady’s got skills, and she could probably take us down in 10 seconds flat.

Looks like we still get to see The Joker again in Batman: Arkham Knight, by way of the admittedly badass Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC. Play as Barbara Gordon in the first DLC from the Arkham Knight Season Pass content, where you’ll be taken back in time to events prior to 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum, the game that kicked off the Arkham franchise.

The Joker and Harley Quinn have kidnapped Police Commissioner Jim Gordon, and it’s up to you (as Barbara/Batgirl) to rescue him. You’ll be joined by Robin on your mission as you explore Seagate Amusement Park, where Commissioner Gordon is being held hostage. The park is built on top of an oil rig that can blow up at The Joker’s whim, so it's essentially a game of cat-and-mouse.

She shows off some serious hacking skills, and it appears to be the highlight of Batgirl’s skill set. That’s not to say that this lady can’t throw a solid punch, though. She’s seriously kicking ass in this new trailer. Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will be available by July 14th to those who sprang for a Season Pass. If you didn't get the pass, you can still buy it separately on July 21st for $6.99.
