Xbox Game Pass continues to prove that it’s one of the best services currently available in gaming with the next batch of games for March, including a critically acclaimed game from last year, Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
There’s also four games leaving on March 15th, but lets concentrate on the positive here. Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is one of the most critically acclaimed games of the last year, with a wonderfully strong story and great characters. To get that so quickly is a blessing upon all gamers and something to be excited for.
One possible reason for the game coming to Game Pass so quickly is that Square Enix recently revealed the game sold less copies than they expected and wanted. To quote the financial briefing:
“The HD Games sub-segment launched Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in Q3. Despite strong reviews, the game’s sales on launch undershot our initial expectations. Sales initiatives that we kicked off in November 2021 and continued into the new year have resulted in sales growth, and we intend to work to continue to expand sales to make up for the title’s slow start.”
The other games in the list aren’t bad either. Far: Changing Tides is a launch day title for Xbox Game Pass, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII has a small but dedicated fanbase and Kentucky Route Zero reviewed incredibly well upon release.
The games are as follows:
Today – Far: Changing Tides
March 3 – Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
March 10 – Guardians Of The Galaxy – Kentucky Route Zero – Lawn Mowing Simulator – Young Souls
