Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PC Requirements Released

February 28, 2022 by Matt Cook

These specs won’t break the bank.

The PC system requirements for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin have been released ahead of the game’s March 18 release date. The game will be released exclusively on the Epic Games Store on PC. Check out the full PC system requirements for Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin below.

Although at first glance the game appears to be very light on the requirements, the reason for that becomes clear with the resolution and FPS target. With the minimum requirements, Square Enix is only targeting a 720p resolution with 30 FPS. Not what most gamers are hoping for. The recommended requirements are what most people will probably be wanting to aim for. The recommended requirements above target a 1080p resolution with 60 FPS.

Clearly, Square Enix is trying to appeal to as many PC gamers as possible with these requirements. The minimum recommended graphics card, the GeForce GTX 1060, is the most popular graphics card on steam after all. Perhaps the company is also trying to temper expectations. The PC release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade was a mess in December. Even PC gamers with the $2000+ RTX 3090 couldn’t play the game at appropriate settings. Hopefully, given the requirements for Final Fantasy Origins, that game fares better on PC when it releases next month.
