Does this sound believable to you? There are alleged leaks for upcoming game Battlefield 2143.
The leaks show three images, one showing the logo and developer (DICE), one, a screenshot with dialogue, and one, a really blurry screenshot without dialogue. These appear to be stills from a trailer set out in the snow, and placed under a deep blue filter.
While many fans were quick to call foul, there is reason to believe the leak could be real. The thing is, EA DICE have been teasing a Battlefield 2143 for some time, with hints dropped inside Battlefield 2, Battlefield 3, and predecessorBattlefield 2142.
Battlefield 2142 is set deep in the future of the Battlefield universe. The Battlefield games are set in one big continuity, and in the fallout of a new ice age, two remaining superpowers, the European Union (EU) and Pan Asian Coalition (PAC) fight for what remaining land is left.
EA teased the existence of a Battlefield 5 game in 2013. They said then that the game would be coming in the coming years, but that it would be doing so alongside Star Wars Battlefront and a new installment in the Battlefield Bad Company series.
