Activision and Treyarch have released an impressive new video for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
This video shows us two things: a brief primer on the Cyber Core systems and a preview of around nine to ten minutes of the Ramses Station level.
Basically, all the Black Ops soldiers are cyborgs, with direct neural interfaces grafted onto them. These DNIs power your quasi psychic technology based powers.
The DNI is another way that your mind is connected to your body, your teammates, and the world around you. You also have within you a Cyber Core, which will help you fulfill roles out in the battlefield. You can switch these cores out freely, to the degree that there are situation based cores you can use that will open up specific attacks. Of course, your Cyber Core will also let you hack into other computer systems, including taking over enemy drones.
It seems in plain English, the Cyber Cores are basically loadouts. In fact, you may have missed it, but they previewed three sets of Cyber Cores and the associated abilities with them. You can read them here:
