Riders Republic Is Getting It’s First Free Weekend

February 8, 2022 by Matt Cook

This weekend is a great time to check out Riders Republic.

Riders Republic, the online racing/extreme sports mash-up game from Ubisoft, is going free to play this weekend. Riders Republic was released last October. The game is a unique online racing game with groups of up to 64 players, all based around various extreme sports. Riders Republic is based around four main sports. Mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, and wingsuit flying.

For those who want to check out Riders Republic during the free weekend, the whole game will be available. That’s great news for players who want to experience all of the different aspects that the game has to offer. Gamers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will be able to participate in the free weekend. The free weekend will not be available to those playing on PC or Stadia. PlayStation players will have the opportunity to pre-load the game from today, February 8, at 5 pm CET/11 am EST/8 am PST. Unfortunately, pre-loading is not available for Xbox gamers.

The free weekend will take place from Thursday, February 10 until Monday, February 14. On February 10, the free weekend will begin at 8 pm CET/2 pm EST/11 am PST. The free weekend will end at the same time on February 14.

Anyone who participates in the free weekend will be able to carry their progress over to the full version of Riders Republic should they decide to buy it. Ubisoft is also advertising the fact that the game is currently on sale for 50% off on multiple digital storefronts. Riders Republic is on sale on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PS4, the Microsoft Store for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, the Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store on PC, and Stadia. Although prices will vary between platforms and regions, Riders Republic is currently $29.99 on the PlayStation and Microsoft stores in the US. The PlayStation Store says the game will remain on sale until February 17. That should give anyone who plays during the free weekend plenty of time to get the game for 50% off. Ubisoft also released a trailer for the free weekend which can be checked out below.
