Heroes of the Storm is getting its first major update, bringing in the whole Diablo universe with it. Blizzard has revealed Heroes of the Storm Eternal Conflict in the E3 PC Gaming Show.
Among the additions from the update are the Battlefield of Eternity map, the new Heroes the Monk, the Butcher, and King Leoric, and the treasure goblins.
Fitting in with the game’s lore, Leoric becomes a wraith when he dies. He can’t hurt other characters in this state, but if you do attack others, you can shorten his death timer. The Monk, of course, is the first Diablo character entering the game.
Separate from the regular daily quests, you can enter a special quest to find and kill a special Eternal Conflict Treasure Goblin. Treasure Goblins can also spawn in matches before the gates open. Either way, killing a goblin can reward you with gold and special portraits.
