Street Fighter has become a household name. Many gamers grew up with it and have been witness to the many changes it has undergone. For better or worse, fans have stuck with the franchise, and today at E3 we got to see more glorious footage of the newest entry to the franchise: Street Fighter V.
We already knew about Ryu, Chun Li, M. Bison, and Nash being in the roster. They’re fan favorites who have pretty much fought their way into players’ hearts, and we’re glad they’re part of this new phase in Street Fighter history. Street Fighter V will also see the return of Birdie, first playable in Street Fighter Alpha; the deadly Cammy, first seen in Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, comes back as well. How fitting that the second female fighter to appear in the series would also be the second to be confirmed in the newest SF title.
Street Fighter V is a PC and PlayStation 4-exclusive title, and to sweeten the deal, the very first public beta is exclusively for PS4. Pre-order the game to gain access, the beta starts July 23rd.
