Deck13 has revealed that they are working on an unnamed sci-fi RPG, to be published by Focus Home Interactive.
The game is set in a dystopian future, and will have what they describe as innovative combat mechanics and an original character progression system. Character progression is modular, and earned from the combat itself.
It should be noted that Deck13 made Lords of the Fallen under contract of the game’s actual owners, CI Games. Moving forward, CI will be developing future Lords of the Fallen games themselves.
So, for all intents and purposes, this new game Deeck13 is working on will be their own IP, and possibly their own franchise moving forward.
Deck13’s still unnamed game will be released in 2017.
