Modern Warfare 3 Perks Guide

Modern Warfare 3 comes with a new set of perks that enhance the customizability of your weapons, encouraging you to dedicate an ample amount of time to each weapon in the game’s multiplayer modes.

Perks in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 function in the exact same way as they do in previous Call of Duty titles. These perks boost your abilities as a soldier and allow you to customize your character in multiplayer. Players can equip up to three perks at a time.

Recon: Explosive damage paints the target on the mini-map.

Recon Pro: Bullet damage paints the target on the mini-map.

 

Sleight of Hand: Faster reloading.

Sleight of Hand Pro: Swap weapons faster.

 

Blind Eye: Undetectable by air support and sentries. 

Blind Eye Pro: Launchers lock-on quicker. Extra bullet damage versus air support and sentries. 

 

Extreme Conditioning: Sprint for longer distances. 

Extreme Conditioning Pro: Climb obstacles faster. 

 

Scavenger: Get ammo from dead enemies.

Scavenger Pro: Get even more ammo by picking up their bag.

Quick Draw: Faster aiming.

Quick Draw Pro: Recover from equipment and grenade usage quicker.

 

Blast Shield: Increased explosive resistance.

Blast Shield Pro: Resistance to flash and stun. 

 

Hardline: Killstreaks require one fewer kill.

Hardline Pro: Two assists count as a kill towards killstreaks. Death streaks require one less death. 

 

Assassin: Immunity to UAV, portable radar, thermal and heartbeat.

Assassin Pro: Immunity to CUAV and EMP. No red crosshair or name when targeted. 

 

Overkill: Carry two primary weapons.

Overkill Pro: Secondary primary weapon can have two attachments.

Marksman: Identify enemy targets at longer range.

Marksman Pro: Longer hold breath.

 

Stalker: Move faster while aiming down the sight.

Stalker Pro: Delay enemy claymore explosions.

 

Sitrep: Detects enemy explosives and tactical insertions.

Sitrep Pro: Louder enemy footsteps.

 

Steady Aim: Increases aim while firing from hip. 

Steady Aim Pro: Weapon is ready faster after sprinting. 

 

Dead Silence: Quiter movements, recon does not work as well against you.

Dead Silence Pro: Take no fall damage.
