Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will be released in September, Konami announced today.
A slew of enhancements and changes have been made from last year’s PES 2015, including improvements to the way in which players collide on the field; improvements to how players maintain control and maneuver in tight situations; AI that makes goal keepers unique from one another (i.e. one goal keeper might be more inclined to catch the ball than to punch it away); a wide camera angle that allows a wider view of the field, enabling players to more accurately calculate movements and passes on the fly; and even the addition of control over the ways in which players can celebrate goals.
PES 2016 will also be taking advantage of enhancements made to the Fox Engine since PES 2015. This includes new night-time lighting and real turf textures.
Dynamic weather will also be introduced for the first time in the series. The notable change this brings to the series is the chance of rain occurring during a match, causing changes in the way players handle themselves on the field, how quickly the ball slides across the field, and more.

Earlier this week, the cover star for PES 2016 was revealed to be Neymar Jr. from FC Barcelona and the Brazilian national team.
PES 2016 will be released on September 15 in North America, September 17 in Europe and on September 18 in the UK for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
