Rocksteady Studios delivered an incredible franchise of Batman video games. The Arkham series was a huge hit, and fans were eager to dive into each installment. However, after Rocksteady Studios parted ways with the IP, fans wondered just what the studio would be working on next. Fortunately, the studio is sticking with the DC Comics universe a bit longer. We now know that the next game coming from this studio is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
The IP, in general, has become more popular as of late. While starting out as a comic book series, there have been cinematic film releases. Task Force X is widely known now in pop culture, and soon we’ll get a video game based on the IP. Suicide Squad: Kill The justice League has players taking the role of different iconic antiheroes in this group. Players will step into Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark. However, some fans wonder who one mysterious character might be from a trailer release.
This trailer is not new. However, if you don’t recall, a story trailer has been uploaded, giving players a look into the premise. The premise here is that Task Force X is forced into battling off Brainiac and the corrupted Justice League. It’s an incredibly difficult challenge for our protagonists to go through. However, we’re bound to see some familiar characters pop up along the journey. One of those familiar characters might have already appeared in a trailer.
For a split second, we see someone reach down and grab a gun before pointing it at Harley Quinn. That particular individual is leaving fans wondering just who it might be. There’s plenty of debate online such as the Suicide Squad Gaming subreddit. Fans are thinking it’s the Arkham Knight, while others find that the character would just be Red Hood. The problem here is the gloves don’t necessarily match Red Hoods. It’s frankly a mystery right now, and we might not know who it will end up being until the game finally launches.
Speaking of the game launch, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is slated to release this year. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific date yet attached to the game. However, you can expect it for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms when it does release.
