Konami has announced that the limited edition Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 will be released in Europe on the same date as the game's release, September 1st 2015.
The bundle contains a 500GB PS4, a DualShock 4 – both with special MGS5 design – and a copy of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Day 1 Edition.
Konami says the deep red is inspired by Snake's Bionic Arm in the game, while the metallic grey colour of DualShock 4 invokes Snake's handgun. Both feature the Diamond Dogs unit emblem, the private military company founded by Snake. A special PS4 theme is also included.
Sony will also be releasing a standard black Phanton Pain PS4 bundle this September.
Konami had previously announced that the bundle would be released in Asia but has yet to confirm whether it will make its way to North America.
