With Spike Lee taking over the reigns of NBA 2K16's MyCareer story mode, could we see the game introduce college hoops?
Operation Sports has pondered this possibility and with confirmation from 2K Sports that 'Frequent Vibrations' won't be the game's only option in MyCareer, we know the mode will follow your player through the world. Under NBA rules, a player cannot join the pros immediately and all three covers for the game feature the star in their college days; Steph Curry at Davidson, Anthony Davis at Kentucky, and James Harden at Arizona State.
This may all mean nothing, or could possibly see the return of college hoops after eight years and one console generation. It's also possible that the game may allow players to follow Emmanuel Mudiay's progression, heading overseas following high school.
Adding college hoops would help add to overall story progression and Spike Lee may just be the man to do it.
