Uwe Boll, the director notorious for making video game movie adaptations like Far Cry, Postal and Dungeon Siege is none-too-happy about the impending failure of his latest project on Kickstarter. Boll sought to use the service to fund Rampage 3: No Mercy but when he received less than half of the movie's 50,000 Euro goal with only three days left on the campaign, he released this video titled "Fuck You All."
Having failed to receive the backing his project needed, Boll claims "microfunding is absolutely dead, goodbye."
In the video, he blames the public for preferring to fund movies about some "retarded wizard in the forest." He doesn't spare any kindness for the likes of Marvel Avengers movies, either.
I'll tell you what Uwe, if you made a movie consisting entirely of your rants towards Hollywood, potential Kickstarter backers and the movie-going public, I'd Kickstart that in a heartbeat.
If you feel bad for him, you can back his Kickstarter here.
