C-3PO, the loveable, yet cynical, golden droid from the Star Wars franchise will be in EA’s upcoming Star Wars Battlefront, the actor for C-3PO, Anthony Daniels, revealed on his Twitter account.
One day it's the hilarious YODA CHRONICLES: the next, the astounding BATTLEFRONT! (Just the ying and yang of being C-3PO at the microphone).

There has been no word on whether C-3PO will be a playable character in Battlefront. Canonically, C-3PO has never fared quite well on the battlefield, so it would be a departure for the character to be going toe-to-toe with, say, Darth Vader, for example. But, a droid can dream, can’t he?
With the Star Wars franchise having seen a resurgence after Disney purchased Lucasfilm in 2012, Daniels has had no shortage of opportunities to reprise his role as the smart-mouthed robot. Disney Infinity 3.0 will see the introduction of Star Wars characters (much like the introduction of Disney’s other acquisition in Disney Infinity 2.0) and Daniels will be providing his vocal talents as C-3PO. And, of course, this December, Daniels will don the metallic, golden suit in Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens.
Star Wars Battlefront was announced by EA at E3 2013. In April, the first in-engine trailer with gameplay was revealed to the public. Battlefront will be released on November 17, 2015 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Those who pre-order will receive one week of early access to the first piece of DLC, titled Battle of Jakku.
