Arc System Works is following up their popular Guilty Gear Xrd with the updated Guilty Gear Xrd –REVELATOR-. A photo of a new character’s silhouette has been making the rounds, and fans have been waiting for her to be revealed.
Thanks to a leaked scan of this week’s Weekly Famitsu, we get our first look at Jack-O. There aren’t a whole lot of details on her yet, but from what we know, she’s among That Man’s close servants, joining I-No and Raven. We’ve yet to see any gameplay footage, of course, but she looks like a playful character that will probably adopt a comical fighting style. We’re guessing her head will turn into a jack-o-lantern during combat to work with that style?
Some details on –REVELATOR– have also been revealed. It will maintain the balance that was present in GG Xrd, but will require more in-depth strategy this time around. “Power blow” is now possible after a successful Blitz Shield, and whether this is a special attack or something else still remains unclear.
