Yesterday the Bethesda Store listed Fallout 4 as a 2015 release, which has now been changed to 'TBA'. However, Bethesda has clarified that its store is not in fact run by the developer but by specialist Treehouse.
“The official store is run independently by Treehouse. We have not shared any news on a release date,” a Bethesda spokesperson told GamingBolt.
Treehouse works with publishers and retailers to maintain their online stores, such as BioWare and Square Enix. It's worth noting that Bethesda has not actually denied that the game is coming in 2015.
Earlier today GameStop Italy pointed to October 23rd as the release date, other retailers including Amazon currently have a December 31st, 2015 placeholder date.
Fallout 4 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One at some point and we may learn the game's release date at Bethesda's E3 press conference on Sunday, June 14th.
