Three more weeks until Batman: Arkham Knight drops, and Rocksteady’s got a little present for us: the Harley Quinn trailer! Harley’s on a quest to break out Poison Ivy, and she’s doing it in style, dishing out her particular brand of fun all around Blüdhaven Police Department in this video.
The trailer shows us a new enemy type: cops. We strongly advise against taking down real cops, but feel free to do so in-game. It looks like Harley’s got new gadgets that’ll leave the cops tied up, too. She’s now got the jack-in-the-box, which works just like a regular one, except it explodes. Parts of the footage would also have us believe that Harley’s got Detective Vision, probably good for ambushing bigger groups of enemies.
A good deal of detail has been put into the environment in Arkham Knight, as we’ve touched on in the past. The foliage that runs through Blüdhaven P.D. is a telltale sign that Poison Ivy didn’t go down without a fight. Rocksteady also wasn’t stingy about the tiny details, like a bloodied face on a cop after Harley smacks him. You don’t take a bat to the face and just shrug it off, man.
Also in the trailer: Nightwing! Seems like an interesting twist to play as the villain and fight a boss battle against a hero. It looks to be the finale of the story pack, and solid confirmation that we are in fact getting a Nightwing appearance.
