Uncharted 4: A Thief's End may have been delayed to 2016 but the game's multiplayer competitive component is already fully playable.
It's no surprise that the game has multiplayer, given that Uncharted 2 & 3, as well as The Last of Us, have all featured online modes but this is the first time developer Naughty Dog has publicly discussed such a mode publicly.
Lead game designer Robert Cogburn tweeted "Epic match between MP team and QA MP team today. Of course, the MP team won."

Last month, he also said the game's multiplayer is "awesome". The game's multiplayer will likely go through several iterations before the game's release and what they played may not reflect the final product but it seems Naughty Dog is pretty confident at this point.
Sony is sure to offer fans more information on Uncharted 4 in two weeks' time during their E3 press conference and may even announce a beta for the game's multiplayer.
The focus of the Uncharted games remains the single player story, so it's likely that will be the main focus at E3. Indeed, Naughty Dog only really discussed The Last of Us' multiplayer mode a few weeks before the game launched. It's also possible that Sony may show off the game's multiplayer mode at their Paris Games' Week media briefing in October.
