Fortnite Invading Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout According To Recent Datamine

November 9, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

A new datamine may have unveiled a crossover event is in the works.

2020 was a challenging year to get through. Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, the entire world was essentially shut down. People were working at home when possible, schools transitioned to online learning, making for plenty of extra downtime. Consumers craved something to play and entertain themselves with. Movies started to stream on various services rather than in theaters, and we even saw some notable games releases. One of those breakout hits from 2020 that had a strong following right out of the gate was Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

There has been a trend for a good while now for video games. We have been seeing plenty of battle royale games hit the market. These are big competitive matches that are usually filled with gunplay. However, the developers over at Mediatonic tried something else. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was a wacky battle royale. Players lined up and were forced into completing a series of minigames that were typically obstacle course races. Those that managed to survive the round were able to move on. That kept up until one last player was standing.

Here's some more cosmetics related to Fortnite just added!

Nameplates:
– "Loot Llama"
– "Victory Backboard"
– "Battle Bus"
– "Blueprint"
– "Cuddle Team Leader"
– "Slurp"

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is also a game that has several notable crossover events. These typically come in the form of skins. It’s been reported in the past datamine that a Fortnite crossover was happening, but apparently, those files were since removed. However, the files have been added back into the game, suggesting that the studio is still working on a crossover. Again, these files suggest skins will be present in the game, which means some notable Fortnite characters are being featured, like Bunny Brawler and Rippley. There are also nameplates that will be Fortnite-inspired.

For now, it’s only a datamine, and we don’t have anything official to go off on yet. Also, just because this is a datamine doesn’t mean that this is something guaranteed to show up in the game. We’re waiting on more details to come out officially, but for now, this is a crossover event that might potentially happen.
