Do you like trophies? Who doesn’t like trophies? Well, there’s 243 Riddler Trophies waiting for you in Batman: Arkham Knight. That number has been confirmed by Rocksteady creative director, Sefton Hill, in a tweet. They had a little guessing contest over on Twitter, and the winner got a pretty sweet trophy – a life-sized replica of the Catwoman Riddler Trophy by Project Triforce.
After the 440-trophy fiasco in Arkham City – only if you played as both Batman and Catwoman! – Hill now tells us that the Riddler has decided to focus on quality over quantity. The Arkham City trophies were earned by exercising both your brains and thumbs to figure out puzzles, and it’s highly likely that Arkham Knight will have a similar setup that’ll have us working our brains for hours.
Arkham Knight also provides more WayneTech at our disposal, with a very capable Batmobile that you can use to get into some tight spaces. Now it’s up to you to utilize these tools and get those trophies! After 440 trophies, 243 should be a breeze, right?
If you’re still not satisfied after getting all those trophies, might we invite you to try the Riddler’s underground challenges all across Gotham? If you think yourself a pretty good driver, take the Batmobile for a spin and see how you fare.
Batman: Arkham Knight comes out on June 23rd for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
