The first two pieces of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s promised 16 pieces of downloadable content will be available immediately when the game launches, according to CD Projekt RED’s community lead & website coordinator Marcin Momot on Twitter.

The plan is for two additional pieces of DLC to be released each subsequent week, culminating in 16 free pieces of DLC by July.
The first two pieces of DLC consists of an armor set for both Geralt and his trusty steed Roach, in addition to a beard and hairstyle set. Next week’s DLC will bring an alternative costume for companion NPC Yennefer, as well as a new quest that sends players on a mission to find a group of missing miners.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released today on PS4, Xbox One and PC today. A day one patch that will include support for DLC, multiple stability issues fixed, overall performance improvements, quest balancing issues, journal objective fixes, combat balancing, AI improvements, UI optimizations, scene triggering improvements, a variety of cosmetic quest imrpovements, and more was also released. A second patch is also planned and can expect to add cross country support for DLC.
