Forza Horizon 5 to Add Over 20 Cars and More in New Update

December 7, 2021 by Carley Garcia

New car horns, clothing items, and emotes are also on the way.

The past month has been good to Forza Horizon 5, with the title speeding ahead to become known as the best racing game in recent memory. The development team at Playground Games seems intent on gradually making the game even better, and the upcoming Series 2 and Series 3 updates will add plenty of new content to the mega-hit title. The announcement was made during the latest Forza Horizon 5 Let’s Go! stream, and the holiday season is looking bright for those still glued to the high-speed game.

To start, players can expect 24 brand-new cars in the next two updates. These can be earned via the Forzathon Shop, the Festival Playlist, Car Pass, and other sources. Series 2 will begin on December 9 and last for four weeks, after which Series 3 will begin. All new cars are listed below.

Series 2 Cars:

  • Lamborghini Espada S3
  • Ferrari J50
  • Ferrari Monza SP2
  • Lamborghini Huracán EVO
  • Lamborghini Aventador J
  • Ferrari 599 GTO
  • Maserati 8CTF
  • Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
  • Ferrari 575M Maranello
  • Lamborghini Galardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante
  • Peel P50
  • Peel Trident

Series 3 Cars:

  • Audi TT RS
  • Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38
  • Jaguar XJ13
  • Donkervoort D8 GTO
  • Toyota Celica SSI
  • Ford Mustang Mach 1
  • Jaguar XK RS GT
  • Vauxhall Lotus Carlton
  • Jaguar XJ220 S TWR
  • Ferrari FXX-K Evo
  • Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37
  • Zenvo TS1

Along with this massive selection of new rides, players can expect new ways to customize their cars with new horns, clothing items, emotes, and additional content. Holiday-themed decorations will be added to the world as well, so keep an eye out for Christmas trees, candy canes, and gifts during Series 2. The Horizon Stadium will be turned into an ice-skating rink, and Series 3 will add decorations and world changes with global New Years’ traditions in mind. The two Series will, of course, add new challenges and events to the Festival Playlist.

During Series 2, players will be encouraged to gift other community members with a new challenge. While Gift Drops can be given like normal, players can gift any and all purchases from the Forzathon Shop to friends or random players. After enough players send gifts, everyone will get an exclusive outfit and a brand-new secret car.

Forza Horizon 5 is available to play now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The title celebrated the largest first week in both Xbox and Game Pass history and attracted over 4.5 million players in the first week.
