Dead by Daylight Gets Into The Holiday Spirit

December 2, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Enjoy the new festivities.

We’re just at the start of the holiday season, and developers are starting to get into the spirit. One of the developers moving in with the seasonal tidings is Behaviour Interactive with Dead by Daylight. This developer has brought out the Season of Giving event, which has already kicked off. If you’re new to the game or have been a veteran player since it launched, there’s a good reason to start logging in daily.

Going forward with the Season of Giving, players will be able to earn rewards and in-game currency. Outside of currency, players can unlock cosmetics, exclusive event items, and even a never-before-seen in-game surprise. Each day starting from December 1, 2021, through January 5, 2022, will see some goodies. We’re not sure just what the big surprise might be, but it should entice some players into jumping back into the game if they haven’t done so in a good little while.

Of course, chances are we’ll see a big surge of new players into this game within the month. We know that Dead by Daylight is Epic Games Store’s latest free video game title to claim. Depending on when you’re reading this article, the game is available to pick up now. Regardless, this is a game that has been quite popular over the past few years. So those interested in this game but haven’t pulled the trigger on it will be able to grab it now. This could also mean some easier games with newcomers joining in.

Veteran players are likely logging in daily, but if not, make sure to check-in. According to the blog post for Dead by Daylight, the new reward will unlock the following day at 11 AM ET. Those who haven’t picked up the game and are not on the PC platform can enjoy Dead by Daylight also on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android, iOS, and the Nintendo Switch platforms.
