Are you one of those MMO fans keeping an eye out for Black Desert Online? You won’t have to wait for a Western release, as you can play the game now, in English to boot.
Black Desert Online’s open beta is now live, in Japan, and as dedicated fans have ascertained, it should be much easier to make an account from outside Japan, than it was to register on the Korean servers. The English patch is ready for you as well.
Of course, the beta is supposed to be region locked, so you will still have to jump a few hoops to get through it. Thankfully, fans have assembled everything you need to get all the way through.

Finally, one important note. There are mods watching. If you give away that you are a foreigner, particularly in general shout chat, you could get your account closed. You will want to stick to whispering, or using party or guild chat channels.
