A redditor found a way to unlock the alt costumes for Mortal Kombat X. Are you ready to give this a try? It has been verified to work for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Go through the worldwide leaderboards. Pick any of the top players on the boards. You should be able to see a list of Overall Leaders, with their wins, losses, streaks, etc. The screen looks like this:
Now, download and look though one of the top players, and make sure to go through her or his Kombat history.
Exit the leaderboards.
If you are asked to change factions, accept or decline, but pick one of these options. Do not exit the game to leave this screen.
Fans are getting mixed results from this hack, with some only getting some costumes, and others claiming they got all of them. Many of them claim to get the costumes unlockable from the mobile app.
In any case, you can repeat this process to unlock more things, and once they’re unlocked they’re unlocked for good. No word on whether Warner Bros Interactive and NetherRealm has a response to this, but nobody seems to be getting banned for it yet, or losing their unlocks, so feel free to give it a try.
