Wolfenstein The Old Blood Collectibles Guide

May 9, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

This is a guide on how to get all the collectibles for Wolfenstein The Old Blood.

This is a guide on how to get all the collectibles for Wolfenstein The Old Blood.

The Old Blood uses the same gameplay mechanics as as Wolfenstein The New Order, so if you played that game, it should be easy for you to jump right in.

If you are starting with the prequel, this game adds a layer of choice/ strategy for veteran Wolfenstein fans as you can choose to play through each level stealthily, or rush in gung ho, guns a-blazing. You can switch between both playstyles to find what is easier for you, or what you want to try, with every level. Unfortunately, a completely nonviolent path, like in a Deus Ex game, is not to be found here. But then again, you’re fighting Nazis, so why would you even want that?

There are 83 collectible locations, as well as 64 gold items, 9 nightmare levels, and 10 letters. These 16 trophies / achievements can only be unlocked by getting all the collectibles:

Ø  German Alps nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Prison nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Docks nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Wolfenstein Keep nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Escape! nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Wulfburg nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Ruins nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Old town nightmare [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Guten tag! [Silver / 20G]

Ø  Paperboy [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Postman [Gold / 20G]

Ø  All that glitters [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Glittering gold [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  The ecstasy of gold [Bronze / 20G]

Ø  Gold master [Gold / 20G]

Ø  Die, Grösse, die! [Gold / 20G]

You can always check collectible progress on the pause menu. With the Eagle Eye Perk, you can see where all the collectibles are on any single map. You can always go to chapter select to go back to any part of the game to find collectibles, or see how many collectibles you found on a level.

Collectibles are saved forever once you find them. You do not have to find them again if you die, and they do not require you go to a checkpoint to save.
