Assassin’s Creed is a massive IP for Ubisoft, and the franchise continues to thrive today. However, there has been a slight slowdown when it comes to actual game releases. Nevertheless, the latest game continues to see support from the studio with new content and expansions. We currently have two major expansions available, but today we know that a third expansion is coming to the game within this fiscal year.
The latest installment right now is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which puts players into Norse mythology. Players are taking the role of Viking, who is helping the expansion from Norway into England. With a strong force to break into, the game has a large open-world map to explore and plenty of quests to take on. Fortunately, the developers have offered more expansions for players to partake in, and while we know a third major DLC is coming, we don’t have any details. This shred of news only comes from a recent financial report from Ubisoft.
This financial report said that a third major DLC is coming to the game within this fiscal year. That doesn’t mean it will come out before 2021 wraps. Instead, the fiscal year ends within March of 2022, so there’s still plenty of time for the developers to market this DLC. We’re sure plenty of fans are eager to dive into this game DLC after finishing everything else up that’s readily available. Although, we will have to wait and find out just what this next DLC will be bringing into the game.
Of course, 2022 could also see additional content come out for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft has been supporting this game since its release. However, in regards to this upcoming DLC, we have seen rumors, and supposed leaks suggest that the third DLC is centered around Ragnarok. This coming year, Ragnarok would be quite a popular subject for the video game industry since we would potentially have a Ragnarok expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla along with God of War Ragnarok. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what Ubisoft unveils.
