The Warcraft movie, inspired by Blizzard's World of Warcraft, has been delayed from March 11th, 2016 to June 2016.
Variety reports that the exact launch date for the film will be June 10th, 2016. Pacific Rim 2 has also been pushed back, from April 2017 to August 2017.
In the case of the Warcraft movie, it seems studio Universal determined it should be a summer movie. Director Duncan Jones (Source Code/Moon) explained on Twitter:
Got good news & bad news. Uni have decided Warcraft deserves to be a summer flick. Yay! Bad news, that means we have to wait till June 2016!

Jones has previously argued in favour of the use of CGI in the movie, saying it's just another tool and it depends on how it's used.
