Update: An Associated Press report, seemingly published early, has confirmed that the game will in fact be released on November 17th. The AP article on the game has also revealed details on the gameplay players can look forward.
Original Story: The trailer for Star Wars Battlefront will be revealed as part of this week's Star Wars Celebration event which is taking place in Anaheim, California but we may already know the shooter's release date – which has been pinned as November 17th.
NeoGAF user salromano posted that the date is featured in the Star Wars Battlefront website. The site's hidden message reads: "The latest news and updates for Star Wars Battlefront. Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC."
It was recently confirmed that the game will be playable on Xbox One first through the EA Access program.
The second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released today following a panel featuring director JJ Abrams, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and some of the movie's stars and shows a snippet of Battlefront footage at the very end – featuring Stormtroopers and AT-AT walkers on what appears to be Endor. This seems to have been confirmed by a new screenshot showing a Stormtrooper riding a speeder on the forest planet.
EA has promised to "break the internet" when the trailer is released tomorrow.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive in cinemas on December 18th.
