During Chapter 4 in the game, elementals user Raiden says Kung Jin should join the Shaolin monks.
'I can't… They won't accept,' Kung Jin comments.
To which Raiden responds: 'They care only of what is in your heart, not whom your heart desires.'
While Kung Jin's sexuality isn't explicitely stated in the game, cinematic director Dominic Ciancialo appears to have confirmed it on Twitter.
"I see people are picking up on the subtle exposition contained in Kung Jin's flashback," he commented. "Glad we have observant fans!"
Mortal Kombat X launched on April 14th.
