Halo Infinite is quite the anticipated video game. However, when 343 Industries had first revealed the initial trailer for the campaign, it wasn’t met with the greatest reception. Instead, the studio had so much bad publicity because of the way campaign gameplay looked. That ultimately forced the development studio had to delay the game outside of 2020, with the new release scheduled for December of this year.
Today a new campaign overview trailer has been released. In this trailer, we get another look at the single-player gameplay. Once again, the studio had reiterated that humanity’s only hope remains on the shoulders of the famous spartan. Although, the military forces have been greatly outnumbered. To win the battle against the new threat by securing a new AI. Likewise, we know that a big mystery still lingers on what happened to the AI Cortana at the end of her existence.
The gameplay footage also showcases quite a bit of content that players can expect. There are larger open areas for players to explore, a variety of vehicles, weapons, and enemies to battle against. Then there’s the fact that we have new upgrades of sorts for players to unlock. For example, we saw a thruster being unlocked to allow players to zip around the area quickly. Also, the grapple system was heavily used again in this trailer.
Fortunately, players can expect the game to hit the marketplace this December. Players will be able to pick up the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Then there’s also Game Pass which will feature the game at launch on December 8, 2021. For now, you can check out the trailer embedded above.
