Halo 5: Guardians is due out on October 27, 2015. Microsoft waited for quite some time to reveal this date, as I'm sure they wanted to avoid delaying the game. The Xbox One library of upcoming games is a bit thin at the moment, but we're hoping that E3 in June changes that.
Halo 5 is currently the subject of much controversy. Apart from its label as the "biggest Xbox One release of 2015," it's also the first game in the series to cast a shadow of doubt on protagonist Master Chief. A series entitled "Hunt the Truth" has been kicking off the game's marketing campaign and raises some very interesting questions, the biggest of which asks whether or not Master Chief is actually a good guy.
Youtuber HaloFollower posts a ton of Halo 5 pertinent content. In his latest video, the Youtuber discusses a new image from the Hunt the Truth campaign that shows what happens after a Covenant "glassing." This, for those of you who may not know, is what the Covenant does to a planet if they want to wipe all life from its recesses.
