Code Name STEAM Updated to Speed Up Enemy Turns

April 9, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Enemy times no longer take a minute.

One of the biggest complaints about Nintendo's Code Name STEAM is its slow turn times. Whenever enemies take a move, players would have to wait up to a minute for their turn to proceed. Needless to say, this is pretty boring.

To that end, Code Name STEAM has been updated today to double the speed of AI moves when played on a standard 3DS system. Anyone playing on the New 3DS will notice that the AI has triple the speed.

The update is live and available for players to download now. Players are recommended to pick it up to improve their experience with the game.

Here are some of the patch notes:

  • You can still use previous save data after downloading this update.
  • Update data will be saved on the SD Card that is inserted into the system.
  • If there is not enough space on the SD Card, the update will not be completed.
  • In order to check available space, select “System Settings” from the Home Menu and then select “Data Management.”
  • After downloading the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the “Downloadable Content” area of the Data Management menu.
