Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to be one of the biggest releases of this console generation. Considering the number of stellar titles that are currently on the gaming horizon, we realize that's quite the statement. However, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the first main series entry into the franchise in over 10 years when it comes out in early 2016.
There have been a huge number of handheld Kingdom Hearts titles published over the last decade, though. One of these comes in the form of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. In this game, a secret boss named Julius is available for players to fight. He is the first secret boss from the Disney universe. Most of these hidden fights feature Final Fantasy antagonists like Sephiroth, which makes it a bit unique.
Youtube channel TheGamersJoint publishes a myriad of Kingdom Hearts-related content. In one of their latest videos, they discuss the likelihood of a boss fight in Kingdom Hearts 3 that features Julius's creator, Doctor Frankenolie. This would make a lot of sense chronologically and would offer up some creative choices for Square Enix's development team.
