After a long silence, Sony has once again revealed Guns Up!, this time announcing that it is a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Guns Up! was initially announced in the last E3 to be coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. It is a free to play military strategy game, being developed by Valhalla Entertainment and to be published by Sony themselves.
In a post on the game’s official forums, Valhalla’s devs explain that they had a small team working on the game, and had to choose to keep the game’s original vision for PlayStation 4, or to stray from it to bring it to other platforms.
They also revealed that they went out of their way to try to make a Vita version possible. They even contracted another studio who specializes in Vita games to figure out what they could do on the platform with Vita.
Of course, this decision was most likely to make PlayStation Vita owners unhappy, seeing as it can be said to be the one platform that needs the most support between the three.
The game also continues to have no release date, but if Valhalla and Sony felt confident enough to reveal the game now it ,may already be getting finishing touches and coming out soon.
