Activision has been dropping virals hinting at Call of Duty Black Ops 3. They start in a surprising place: an update for Call of Duty Black Ops 2.

The update adds nothing to the gameplay or story. Instead, it sneakily adds Snapchat QR codes to some posters found in Black Ops 2’s maps. If you do have the Snapchat add, and scan in the code, you friend account user callofduty.
So, that account has shared its first video, and it’s a suitable ode to David Lynch ,or possibly Luis Buñuel? In a brief ten seconds, you watch a single eye closing, cutting to footage of trees in a forest while someone says "Listen only to the sound of my voice."

Based on Activision’s prior actions, if Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is coming up next, it will be revealed at this year’s E3. Furthermore, Treyarch is expected to be the developer for this game, as it is their turn for the rotation between themselves, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games.
