The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Same Sex Marriage Confirmed

Bethesda has confirmed same sex marriages in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Bethesda Softworks has confirmed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will feature same sex marriages.

When asked by a Twitter user whether "Is same sex marriage in Skyrim? The subject seems like hush hush", to which Bethesda's VP of PR of marketing replied:

Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone.

Hines then said:

Sorry, should clarify. Not any NPC, just mean any male or female. Doesn't matter what you're playing.

Well, there you go: you horny gamers can now celebrate upon the game's launch by marrying two females.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due for a worldwide launch on November 11th, 2011.
