Rainbow Six: Siege Closed Beta Coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One this Year

Rainbow Six: Siege will be getting a closed beta trial on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Reports of the beta initially emerged after a leaked marketing poster from GameStop appeared online, but Ubisoft has since confirmed the news to VideoGamer. Access to the beta will be included with pre-orders for the game.

"Yes, you can now pre-order Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege to get access to the Closed Beta later on this year," Ubisoft commented. "Stay tuned for more information on the Closed Beta in the coming months."

The beta will follow on from the closed PC alpha test, footage of which leaked online over the weekend and revealed an airport map.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm a release date for the beta or the game itself.
